Welcome to an extension of Sewing Depot (formerly A Selective Stitch), one of Northern Michigan's exciting sewing shops. We are pleased to be the area dealer for Bernina, Babylock, and Singer sewing machines, as well as offer to you a full line of sewing furniture designed and built right here in Traverse City, Michigan. Our shop is full of top quality, 100% cotton quilting fabrics, a great selection of fleece (solids and prints), heirloom fabrics and laces, and just about every notion you could ever need for your sewing projects. We emphasis quilting in our store, so you will see a great selection of quilting tools including rulers, cutting mats and cutting tables.
A Selective Stitch has recognized the way the sewing industry is headed and has taken the necessary steps to stay on the cutting edge of technology. We have a complete staff dedicated to helping customers in all aspects of our industry. If you are interested in combining your sewing machine with your home computer, our shop is structured to help make the transition from sewing machine to computer sewing a pleasant one. It's not just sewing anymore, it's a whole world of embroidery as well.
