October Special Events OCTOBER, 2010 SOS Embroidery Event with Bernina Educator Debbie Lashbrook presenting a seminar on the techniques for successful embroidery. Topics to be covered include: embroidery design selection, hooping aids, stabilizer selection, successful hooping, perfect placement, continuous hooping, elegant towels and monograms, soft embroidery techniques for babies, lace solutions, free-standing and beyond, quilting in the hoop, applique, stitch and turn and more. There will be two sessions, one in the morning from 10 to 12:30 and one at night from 6 to 8:30, both on October 19. There is a limit of 25 per session.
