We are pleased to announce that Mary Lou will be making a return visit to New Bern Fabric Center on Monday, October 13, 2008 and Tuesday, October 14, 2008. Join us for two exciting days as Mary Lou shows her magic with different Presser Feet, Heirloom Sewing and use of the Twin Needle that will inspire your own creative sewing talents. Her Lecture/Demo Sessions are fun and educational and open to everyone regardless of machine brand or model. Over the last four decades, Mary Lou has perfected the use of Bernina Presser Feet and Accessories. Mary Lou, a Pensacola, Florida native, is a popular teacher at Bernina University and the Martha Pullen School of Sewing. Don't miss this opportunity to meet and learn from one of the true masters. Attendees will take home books and DVDs of the accessories and techniques shown. Sign up for one or both days for only $75 per day. We are starting our beginning adult sewing classes on Monday nights from 6:30pm to 9pm the Monday after Labor Day, September 8th! Carole is again offering her Smocking class for six weeks beginning Tuesday Sept. 9th. There will be a morning class from 9:30-noon and an evening class from 6:30-9pm. Reserve your spot now! We will see if we can get that project or technique added to our schedule. Pull out and mark your calendars for Bernina Club, which meets on the last Saturday of each month at 10am (except for November & December.) We always demonstrate a neat technique or fantastic Bernina product that will enhance your sewing/embroidery experience. Handouts are included, along with refreshments, fun, fellowship, plus the Bernina Club Day discount on Bernina accessories. These are free for all who purchased their embroidery software from New Bern Fabric; folks who purchased elsewhere are also welcome for a small fee based on the level of your software.
